CAREER DREAMS AT AGE 10!

At the age of 10, a lot of new changes happened for me. Moved to a new area and new school.
Our school was runned by nuns at that time........one teacher in particular I just loved, so I too, wanted to be just like her .
In December of that year, I watched the Nut Cracker Ballet on television. I was infatuated with the pretty, graceful ballerina, so guess what, lol......yup, a ballerina.
Being in grade 5, we started to learn about Hygene, Sex Ed, etc. A Nurse came to class to tell us the importance of immunization (at that time we were immunized at school) and what to expect later that year when she returned. So when the time came for our shot, we were not afraid of her or the needle for she was so gentle, kind, and very patient with us.....WOOHOO, finally decided to be a Nurse.
I was never anxious or scared at the prospect of being an adult. The thought never entered my mind then. All I had to worry about was homework, exams, discipline, friends, etc......
When I was in high school..............that's another matter....mmmmmmmmm
My dream careers at that time did not get fulfilled. I was engulfed with being a good Mom, which I took pride as my choice of a career.

I agree not only are you a Mom but also a nurse, a counselor, a teacher, and many many more titles. You couldn't ask for a better career then that of a loving Mom!

I think Glynis said it best. Being a mom is the best job and as Stephani said it encompasses all you wished to be.
